Homework is assigned to reinforce the important topics covered in your textbook and challenge you to find
additional information on related topics by researching sources other than your textbook.

All homework and a class schedule will be posted weekly on Ed-line at
www.edline.
net/pages/Bronxville_High_School.

Some extra-credit assignments may be logged on the
www.scilinks.org web site. These assignments will
require you to complete them on the website so you must register as a student user on the site. When you
register at the site you need to input my username on the site.

All written homework assignments are due at the beginning of the class period on the due date assigned or
before first period on the first day returning to school after an absence.  All homework must be validated
ONCE with the instructor’s date stamp in the upper right hand corne
r.

Homework may be submitted by using the homework submittal form at

or to my homework E-mail address which is
chemhw@optonline.net , or by E-mail to me at
ippolitc@bronxville.k12.ny.us .”

For the E-mail to be received the subject line of your E-mail must contain the following phrase: “
BHS Chem
II Honors Homework
.”

Homework submitted by E-mail before 11 PM on the evening prior to the class
due date will be awarded a 5% bonus.

Typewritten homework will be awarded a 10% bonus.











You will do your homework on your own and to the best of your ability. Failure to complete homework will be
noted in the weekly progress reports that are posted on Ed-line every Sunday night.











Most homework will be collected and may be reviewed at the beginning of the class in which it is due. Any
and all homework that is received after a due date, will receive a grade of sixty-five (65).

WRITTEN HOMEWORK FORMAT

All textbook assignments must be neatly completed in your classroom notebook or on loose leaf as directed
by your instructor.

The top line of the page must include your name and the date due.

The next line should include the chapter, section, pages from the text, and the numbers of the questions
assigned.
